Hi folks,
I had now the opportunity to see the Sony lineup live in action, and so far: the A1 will be the absolute Oberhammer!
First a few points for those interested:
A1: Sorry, but you can not describe - you must have seen it yourself! This part is pretty much the hottest thing I've ever seen! Subjectively similar bright as the XE90, but bildtechnisch a own league! At Passengers, all the details were visible in dark areas - without any noise!
For me, the hottest TV in a long time, look forward to it
Update:
The A1 has BFI!
Could not play around much and flickered Visible, but was highest level and device only prototype. Moving image but also without BFI at the ZD9 level, which stood next to it
The image flickered slightly, was visible with the eye. In the settings menu, the setting "Clarity" could be changed with Motion, it was high. The image was darker and flickered something, looked very strak for BFI for me - especially as the moving picture was even better. There was no flicker on all the other settings.
I could test the A1 with its own content in the user and cinema mode (GoT FHD, Life if PI 4K HDR) and both looked absolutely outstanding! Also the recording in very dark areas is excellent, since LG tends very strongly to the noise and block formation - no trace of it on the A1. Also the sound surprised me, which is really good! Go strongly towards X93C.
Still briefly to the movement: with GoT (24p) with MF on standard was the moving picture clarity, no drawing, liquid and clear. So exactly as you are used to from Sony.
