Samunsg UE55F9000
"When watching Blu-rays ,in particular, we could see that edges were smoother as the scaling took advantage of the 4K panel, thus reducing jaggies or stair-stepping. As a result even though you know that the UE55F9000 can't add extra detail to a 1080p source, the image does appear more defined and thus detailed."
Samsung UE65F9000
"There were even times when the 65F9000 could make Blu-ray look better than 1080p"
Sony KD-55X9005A
"Reality Creation, for instance, certainly seemed to help with the scaling when watching broadcast HD, although we didn’t really find it necessary for a good Blu-ray transfer which could actually look like they were near 4K in some instances. "
Samsung UE55HU8500
" The scaling capabilities built into Samsung’s processing chip are simply excellent and Blu-ray discs could actually look something beyond 1080p, at times."
