Si, esta claro que hace falta un panel 3D, por lo menos tenemos reproductor compatible y no hay que cambiar las dos cosas, aunque cuando saquen aqui los paneles 3D lo mismo esta ya la PS4.

Está claro. Todo depende de quiénes realizen software en 3D. Es genial que Sony implemente la tecnología 3D en la Ps3, pero si no recibimos juegos ni películas creadas nativamente en esta tecnología no servirá de nada.

Esto era como cuando compramos nuestras TV de Hi-Res y más de uno nos tiramos varios años reproduciendo sobre ellas contenido en Standart-Definition.

De momento hay un contenido creado 100% 3D, que es la película Avatar, que se estrena hoy en todos los cines del mundo.

Imaginaros hasta que esta película llegue al Blu-Ray y se edite en 3D para nuestros hogares el tiempo que pasará. Y una vez llegue, únicamente tendremos una película con la que satisfacer nuestros 3000 euros gastados en el panel de turno compatible con esta tecnología.

Así que, de nuevo, será el videojuego quién dé la alternativa a esta tecnología, igual que pasó con la alta definición que, a falta de contenido del cine, teníamos Xbox 360, y el PC mucho antes, para poder satisfacer a nuestos paneles HD.

Así que mi consejo es que tranquilos con el tema de las 3D, que de momento los paneles que salgan serán bastante caros y el contenido en 3D será inexistente.

Pero ¿qué es lo que hace falta en la pantalla? Ya hay televisores capaces de frecuencias de refresco de pantalla en progresivo a 120 Hz ¿no?

Todas las que venden en NTSClandia, por ejemplo. En vez de 50/100 Hz... tienen 60/120. No creo que sea eso lo que haga falta o al menos dicho así. Lo de 120 Hz para cada ojo, me huele a que la pantalla tiene una frecuencia para las imágenes que de alguna forma se identifica con el contenido que ofrece y los cristales de las gafas, que entiendo que en el algo variarán de uno a otro ojo, permiten captarlos y dar la sensación 3D; servirían para discriminar la imagen "frecuenciada" perdón por el palabro pero es para entendernos, que trata el panel a un contenido que en sí mismo hace que el propio panel lo trate así.

Es sólo una teoría... pero cuela .

Por cierto. Se dice que muchos de los repros actuales de BD, no sólo la PS3, pùeden reproducir contenidos de BD-3D llegado el caso. No todos, pero si muchos de los reproductores actuales podrán hacerlo.

Un poco de la evolución de las 3D (utilizando gafas) y el método de las gafas polarizadas y las polarizadas activas.

(PhysOrg.com) -- Sony and Panasonic have recently announced a new technology, called "active shutter" for producing the experience of 3D on high definition TVs. The first models are expected to be available in late 2009 or early 2010.


The original 3D experience of movies depended on the viewer wearing stereoscopic green and red glasses. The illusion of 3D in the image came from superimposed green and red images taken from slightly different angles. Each eye saw only one image, and the viewer's brain combined them to give the illusion of three dimensions. 3D movies using this technology, called anaglyph 3D, can be viewed on any TV, as long as the viewer wears the glasses.

The problem with anaglyph 3D is that it strains the eyes, and can cause headaches and nausea in some people. Others have a dominant eye, and find it difficult to see the image as three dimensional.
A newer process for 3D in the cinema uses a special screen and polarized glasses. In this system images for the left and right eye are rapidly alternated, and the glasses pick up the appropriate image for each eye. A similar technique has now been introduced for high definition LCD televisions by LG Electronics in South Korea and Hyundai in Japan. The system, known as X-Pol, projects the different images in the even and odd horizontal lines of the video, and the polarized glasses sort it all out for the viewer.

Now Sony and Panasonic have introduced an "active shutter" technique for high definition plasma and LCD TVs. The viewer still has to wear polarized glasses, but in this system the glasses have LCD active shutters that are synchronized with signals from the TV. The shutters rapidly block the right and left eye views alternately so each eye receives the correct image.
The new system gives higher resolution than X-Pol because in active shutter technology each eye sees all the lines in the video, whereas in X-Pol each eye sees only half the lines.

Panasonic executive Peter Fannon said the new high definition 3D televisions will give viewers an experience just like being there, rather than watching it on TV.

Panasonic will be releasing some Full HD 3D models later this year, with Sony's version coming on the market later. Buyers of the new TVs will also need 3D-compatible Blu-ray disc players. The glasses will be supplied with the TV sets. There is no information yet on the prices of these televisions.

Gafas Shutter de Panasonic para 3D trabajando (activas). Entiendo que se tienen que sincronizar con el panel para dar la frecuencia e imagen al ojo que corresponde... de lo contario... .
