Visceral Games, los creadores de Dead Space, lanzarán un nuevo juego en 2014. Posiblemente relacionado con Battlefield

Una serie de anuncios de Visceral Games han permitido saber que el estudio está contratando testers veteranos en shooters en primera persona para probar un "shooter next-gen que se lanzará próximamente".

Recordemos que, en los últimos tiempos, el estudio conocido por la serie Dead Space ha estado colaborando con DICE en el desarrollo de Battlefield 4, y que incluso End Game, la última expansión de Battlefield 3, venía firmada por ellos.

De hecho la fecha prevista, según los documentos, para el estreno de este nuevo videojuego que la propia Visceral Games está preparando es otoño: momento en el que acostumbran a lanzarse las entregas de la serie.

Parece que se confirman los rumores que Visceral Games podría estar trabajando en un Battlefield de carácter policial.

El nombre en código del producto es Havana y se lanzaría a finales de este año.

Según el portal norteamericano Polygon todos los rumores son ciertos en cuanto al hecho de que Visceral Games se encuentra involucrada en una nueva entrega de la serie Battlefield que se estrenaría este año, y sus fuentes aseguran que será de corte policial en lugar de militar como hasta ahora.

Según la web el proyecto, bajo el nombre en código de Havana, se lanzará este mismo año, y para su desarrollo el equipo cuenta con el apoyo de miembros de un antiguo equipo de Criterion y también de Ghost Games UK.

The Guildford, Surrey offices of Ghost Games, a branch of the relatively recently rebranded EA Gothenburg studio responsible for Need for Speed: Rivals, was hit by layoffs this week and development on a new, unannounced Need for Speed title put on hold, multiple sources tell Polygon.

Electronic Arts earlier this week let go of their contractors at the office and told full-time staffers they could either take compensation and leave or continue working in the office to support work on Visceral's rumored police-themed Battlefield title, code-named Havana. Sources say Havana is due out later this year.
