Pink Floyd en alta resolución y 5.1

Una pregunta, que diferencia hay entre las versiones que salieron dts en su momento de los cd's que se reeditan ahora?

Parar empezar, pakiko, las ediciones CD-DTS eran simples transfers de las grabaciones cuadrafónicas disponibles en vinilo o en cartuchos de 8 pistas, más o menos remasterizados con herramientas informáticas "caseras". Hay una página específicamente dedicada al proyecto llamada www.whypinkfloyd.com donde aparece toda la información disponible por el momento.

Pink Floyd and EMI Music, whose association dates from 1967, announce a comprehensive release schedule, to be launched on September 26, 2011, encompassing CDs, DVDs, Blu-ray discs, SACD, an array of digital formats, viral marketing, iPhone Apps and a brand-new single-album ‘Best Of’ collection.

The legendary band, who are still one of the most successful and iconic artists of all time, recently signed an agreement with EMI which has allowed the development of a multi-format programme of packages, many containing archive material that has been collated during an extensive process between EMI and Pink Floyd for a range of media formats.

Hola mozart. Yo creo que incluso nosotros podremos escucharlas, verlas y tocarlas. Y los miembros de la banda vivos y los herederos de los tristemente fallecidos podrán dedicarse a hacer todo aquello que no sabían si podrían, no sé, comprarse una flota de aviones o una decena de islas griegas, a saber.

Las ediciones IMMERSION, imprescindibles para cualquier floydiano que se precie, andarán por los 100 US$ más gastos de envío cada una de ellas. Las demás no sé si merecerá la pena comprarlas o mejor esperar a ver si salen las IMMERSION de los demás álbumes. Con el tiempo caerá todo, ahora que gracias a un íntimo amigo y compadre he conseguido reducir a la tercera parte el volumen ocupado por mis discos. De esto hablaré en otro hilo, cuando decida dónde.
