Lo de la uniformidad es raro de cojones. Estos de LG se lo deberían hacer mirar, en serio. No puedes llevar una tele así a una comparativa como esta, leches!.

Que OLED barre a LED eso lo tengo yo más que claro, por mucho que digan y digan y digan. A los hechos me remito.

En orden de izquierda a derecha: Panasonic, Sony, Samsung y LG

En el video íntegro hay un momento en el que paran la imagen y se ve clara diferencia en los negros a favor del OLED (la unidad de la derecha):

También dan a entender que el problema de uniformidad tan grave se da en la OLED 4K de tamaño 65" (que "insinuan" es común en mayor o menor medida a todas las unidades de dicho tamaño, aunque me gustaría ver más información sobre ello). La verdad es que el problema que han mostrado al menos esa unidad en concreto es muy grave :

Me cuesta creer que todas las OLED EG9600 tengan un problema de oscurecimientos de bordes tan acusado como la de la muestra.

Sí, pero no tengo claro que ni siquiera sea un problema común de la 65" (comosí insinuan en avsforum), cuando en esta revierw dijeron y colgaron esta captura:

When first powered on, the EG9600 was plagued by uniformity issues, but you really can't see them during content.
Even after 120 hours of continuous use (running a standard color bar pattern), the initial uniformity improved, but still hadn't evened out entirely. After doing some research at some of the more TV-geek friendly corners of the internet, we found that OLEDs benefit from regular down time during the initial break-in period.

After leaving the TV off for a night, I went back in the morning and voila—it was like looking at a different screen. The edges of the panel were still a bit dark compared to the center, but the vertical banding was completely gone.



The EG9600 at 20 IRE after about 200 hours of use (calibrated). Edges of the screen are still a bit dim, but much improved overall.





And quite frankly, as jarring as these uniformity issues can be during test patterns, it's hard to even see them outside of special circumstances. As they tend to present in darker grays, you'd need to be watching something where a sizable portion of the screen was taken up by a uniform gray color. Before deciding if OLED is for you, make sure you give the TV a good 100-200 hours of non-continuous use—and ask retail staff how long their showroom OLEDs have been running, too.

Y es que si ese hubiera sido la unidad que hubieran llevado a la comparativa hubiera sido la elegida por todo el mundo (pues la única crítica que tuvo fue la pésima uniformidad del panel que he mostrado)... y que por lo visto se reduce una barbaridad con el rodaje que parece no le pasaron previo al Shootout
