Grabador DVD LG RHT-297H. Tenemos sustituto del 197H

There is one firmware running in the recorder and one running in the loader (optical drive). We usualy call the first firmware and the second bios, only to avoid misunderstanding.

Here (this file was shared by a german lg service-center), but, please strictly follow this instructions:
1. Extract from the archive (and burn on the cd) ONLY DvdSD19_disc_update.rs2 and YASMSD19_disc_update.bin files (DO NOT burn the other files!!!).
2. Rename the files as below:
DvdSD19_disc_update.rs2-> DvdSD18.rs2
YASMSD19_disc_update -> YASMSD19.BIN
3. Burn DvdSD18.rs2 and YASMSD19.BIN files in the Root directory of blank CD
4. Label the cd as "DRIVE_UP"
Of course, I take no responsabilities: you do it at your risk!!!

The version of the recorder fw is not relevant.
SD19 should work on all RHT2xx (and also on all RH2xx) machines: just check if your loader version is SD11 (or similar SDxx) and, in this case, SD19 is suitable.

Sitúate sobre el icono del candado (sin entrar en él) y pulsa en el mando la secuencia: 7 8 8 9.

La SD11 es la misma que tengo yo, aunque según Nicodo (que es el que sabe) la última es la SD19 que he subido a Megaupload (ver post más arriba). De todos modos yo no la he probado aún, así que no puedo hablar por mi mismo.
