According to the Dune facebook page the Max 3D will not be making it into production due to compatability issues with Bluray Security

"The MAX 3D player was announced and showed at some exhibitions last year as prototype.

But unfortunately the final product never made it to the production line due to compatibility issues with the newest Blu-ray films security.

So Dune is not producing players anymore with internal Blu-ray drive.
