Yo lo tuve varios meses (desde octubre del 2015) y hace unos días lo he devuelto porque acabé harto de los reinicios.
Los primeros meses funcionó bastante bien, con sus errores pero que se iban solucionando (al menos los importantes) en sucesivos firmwares, pero desde que sacaron el primer firmware compilado con el nuevo Sigma SDK, no paré de tener problemas con reinicios continuos en cualquier momento: viendo videos de Youtube, entrando en una carpeta de red, reproduciendo un archivo de vídeo,... Por suerte lo había comprado en Amazon y ellos me han gestionado la garantía aceptando la devolución del producto y devolviendome el dinero integro.

Yo tuve los mismos problemas pero lo solucioné con el último firm oficial eso si para actualizar tienes que hacer un hard reset antes y otro después de actualizar y luego ya configurarlo,de esta manera se acabaron los reinicios aleatorios.

Pues debe ser un problema de tu unidad, porque yo lo tengo también desde las mismas fechas, y te aseguro que le pego mucha caña, actualizado siempre a la última..... y sin ningún problema..... Estoy contentísimo con él-

Está bien hacerlo antes también , pero dime si es distinto tu hard reset a lo restaurar valores de fábrica.

Restaura a valores de fábrica antes de actualizar y después,yo tampoco lo hacía antes y sufría los reinicios.

This firmware is same as last RC 4 build. ( http://www.networkedmediatank.com/showth...?tid=73586 ). You don't have to update if you already running last RC 4 firmware.

Actualizado sin problemas , una pregunta.... alguien de este foro tiene un nas synology ? me estaba mirando uno para conectarlo al vten y preguntaba sobre la configuracion y como se comporta con estos nas .

Yo mismo Y estoy encantado. En el NAS tengo todas las pelis, series, música lossless y las fotos y accedo desde el VTEN, el AVR, el PC, el móvil y la tablet. Una maravilla, vamos.
Y en cuanto a configurarlo los manuales de Synology son muy buenos, además hay un montón de foros por ahí para preguntar. Si tienes algo de idea de informática y redes mejor pero no es imprescindible, es todo muy intuitivo.

En el VTEN no tienes que poner ninguna opción especial. Es como si fuese un disco duro local pero en red. Navegas hasta las carpetas donde tengas las pelis (en compartir red me parece), por ejemplo, y las añades como add-on al home y así la tienes en la pantalla principal. Yo en el NAS tengo una carpeta video (y dentro 2 carpetas pelis y series), una carpeta musica y otra fotos. En el VTEN tengo los 3 accesos a esas carpetas en la pantalla principal y listo.
Yo tengo un DS215j con 2 discos WD RED de 3 Teras (en espejo)

En el VTEN no tienes que poner ninguna opción especial. Es como si fuese un disco duro local pero en red. Navegas hasta las carpetas donde tengas las pelis (en compartir red me parece), por ejemplo, y las añades como add-on al home y así la tienes en la pantalla principal. Digamos que es Raid 1, aunque estrictamente no lo es. Synology utiliza otro sistema pero es como si fuera Raid 1
