El X20 Pro merece la pena si vas a utilizar las salidas analógicas y/o las balanceadas, pero como dices para usar la salida óptica no tiene sentido pagar más.

En cuanto a la memoria, los 2GB del X20 son más que suficientes, yo desde que lo tengo nunca lo he visto por encima de 600MB de uso total, incluso reproduciendo FullUHD con 100Mbps de bitrate para el vídeo, Dolby Atmos y DTS-X incluidos. Eso sí, no tengo instalada ninguna App adicional, solo lo que trae el firmware.

Mil gracias, me has despejado la duda. Muchas veces nos puede el ansia y vamos a por productos con equipamiento/características que no vamos a utilizar en la vida y la verdad no merece la pena el coste extra.

Ya hice las pruebas de velocidad de escritura entre las diferentes conexiones del X20, utilizando un WD Green 2TB y un WD Red 8TB para las bahías internas, así como un disco externo de 2.5" WD Blue Scorpio de 500GB en carcasa Fantec 3.0 compatible con UASP.

Entre bahías internas: 80-90 MB/s
Entre puerto trasero USB 3.0 y bahía interna: 50-60 MB/s
Entre puertos frontales USB 2.0 y bahía interna: 30-40 MB/s
El puerto Type-C queda pendiente

Decir que el disco externo ya tiene unos 8 años a sus espaldas y puede que influya en la velocidad de transferencia, pero tampoco me voy a comprar una a drede para probar.

En cualquier caso el cacharro se traga por USB copias de discos UHD con bitrates de vídeo cercanos a los 100 Mbps, incluyendo pistas de audio HD Atmos y DTS-X.
