As 'Digital' tuners go, this one is about as sophisticated as it gets. As stated in the manual, "this tuner approaches the theoretical limits of tuner sensitivity" (depending a great deal of course on antenna type and placement relationship to signal source). Great digital tuner that would go well with the classic as well as modern system:

- 'Computer Lock' Digital tuning
- Fluorescent Station / Status display / readout
- 8 Banks of 3 each random AM / FM station presets for a total of 24. The presets also 'remember' reception modes! (we've never had a tuner that did that)
- 'Fine Tuning' mode. A very rare feature (we've never had a digital tuner that had that, and was always our big issue with digital tuners) allows you to 'tune by feel' with the analog knob!
- Mode selector 'Auto / Manual'
- One touch seek /scan function
- 24 segment Fluorescent Signal Quality indicator
- Dual FM antenna inputs (very rare feature, that allows for two antennas with different characteristics to be connected) selectable from the front panel
- 'Hi-Blend' selector
- 'Wide / Narrow' selector
- RF Attenuation selector (essentially Local / DX)- Frequency Step (10 kHz or 9 kHz for AM and 100 kHz or 50 kHz for FM).: el modelo en venta no lo tiene
- Readout allows 'naming' of stations with letters / words- True " WORLD AC POWER"™ Operates on 50 / 60 Hz AC and voltages from 110-240 AC : sólo 220V
