Que se sabe de "el hobbit" e Indiana Jones?

Pues sobre Indiana Jones, pues parece que la cosa anda avanzada, pero ya llevan un par de años con la cosa avanzada, así que no sé yo si hasta 2008 nada de nada... Por cierto, del guión no se sabe nada.

Sobre El Hobbit, lo último que se sabe es que MGM está ya en negociaciones con Peter Jackson para realizar 2 pelis sobre El Hobbit, siendo la primera una adaptación pura y dura del libro pero intención con la segunda película es mostrar hechos que no aparecen en el libro pero que servirían de conexión con El Señor de los Anillos.

Dos pelis?......seria un pelin absurdo....Que saquen una pelicula en el cine y luego la extendida en dvd como dios manda....no concibo dos peliculas de El Hobbit...creo que si hacen un guión currado pueden unirla perfectamente con LA SAGA....

"The Lord of the Rings" fansite TheOneRing.net has received an official statement from Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh about The Hobbit. The two have made it clear that New Line has passed them up, due to Wingnut Films' lawsuit against the studio regarding "The Fellowship of the Ring," and that the studio is looking for a new director to take on The Hobbit and a mystery second "Lord of the Rings" prequel. Several years ago, Mark Ordesky told us that New Line have rights to make not just The Hobbit but a second "LOTR prequel", covering the events leading up to those depicted in LOTR. Since then, we've always assumed that we would be asked to make The Hobbit and possibly this second film, back to back, as we did the original movies. We assumed that our lawsuit with the studio would come to a natural conclusion and we would then be free to discuss our ideas with the studio, get excited and jump on board. We've assumed that we would possibly get started on development and design next year, whilst filming The Lovely Bones. We even had a meeting planned with MGM executives to talk through our schedule.

However last week, Mark Ordesky called Ken and told him that New Line would no longer be requiring our services on the Hobbit and the LOTR 'prequel'. This was a courtesy call to let us know that the studio was now actively looking to hire another filmmaker for both projects.


Bueno, puesto ha aparecido hoy en Theonering.net, y básicamente me parece una de las mayores cagadas que pueda cometer un estudio, pero así es Hollywood: New Line no quiere saber nada de Peter Jackson sobre las dos películas que se van a rodar sobre El Hobbit y la precuela de El Señor de los Anillos.

As Lord of the Rings fans mounted a protest following word that New Line had dropped Peter Jackson from consideration as director of The Hobbit and another Lord of the Rings prequel, producer Saul Zaentz has given assurances that Jackson will indeed direct the two films. A German website, Elbenwald.de, posted an interview with Zaentz, who acquired the rights to the works of the late Rings writer, J.R.R. Tolkien, in 1976 (the Saul Zaentz Company owns Tolkien Enterprises), in which Zaentz says, "It will definitely be shot by Peter Jackson. ... Next year The Hobbit rights will fall back to my company. I suppose that Peter will wait because he knows that he will make the best deal with us. And he is fed up with the studios: to get his profit share on the Rings trilogy he had to sue New Line. With us, in contrast, he knows that he will be paid fairly and artistically supported without reservation." Tras la famosa carta de Peter Jackson en la que comunicaba que New Line no quería saber nada de él para hacer El Hobbit y la prcuela de ESDLA y tras la aparición de un rumor en internet (en comingsoon.net, más concretamente) de que podían ofrecerle el proyecto a Sam Raimi, Saul Zaentz sale con estas declaraciones publicadas en IMDB.
Yo, personalmente, las doy bastante credibilidad, ya que al fin al cabo, es el dueño de los derechos obre las obras de Tolkien, así que aún hay esperanza....
