Plasma Panasonic NeoPlasma G30 (Nueva gama 2011)
Como sorpresa de última hora, Panasonic anuncia para el mercado europeo la serie G en tamaños de 42', 46' y 50'.
Panasonic abandona la nomenclatura NeoPDP y pasa a denominar NeoPlasma a la nueva gama de 2011.
Infinite Black (Native Contrast 5,000,000:1)
Enhancements to the panel and cells allow VIERA to deliver pure, bright whites and deep, robust blacks. We've also made improvements that minimise the pre-discharge, helping VIERA produce beautiful, high-contrast images while using less electricity.
* Native Contrast is expressed as a ratio of the minimum of luminance levels of blacks and the maximum of luminance levels of whites that are displayed and measured at the same time on the same screen in a dark room on a plasma panel module. Panasonic's Native Contrast measurement expresses the maximum contrast ratio of the plasma panel measured at the time of manufacture and does not express a contrast ratio measured during ordinary viewing conditions by a consumer.
For 2011 plasma television models, Panasonic measures Native Contrast in a Dynamic mode using a static white rectangular pattern with 4% area size. This allows consumers to compare more easily the Native Contrast ratios reported for Panasonic plasma televisions with the Dynamic Contrast ratios reported by many manufacturers of LCD televisions.
600Hz Sub-field Drive* Intelligent Frame Creation Pro
The 600Hz Sub-field Drive* in VIERA plasma TVs teams up with Intelligent Frame Creation Pro technology to deliver smooth, fluid, on-screen motion. By using an intelligent algorithm within the picture processing based on motion detection, the best combination of frames is created to deliver ultra crisp sports, film and game action.
* When using Cinema mode.
THX® Certified Display
In order to enjoy the original image quality of a movie, you need to have a display that portrays the images exactly as the movie's creators intended. VIERA has cleared the high standards set by THX Certified Display Programme. Enjoy beautiful images that are optimal for movies.

ISFccc- Imaging Science Foundation Certified Calibration Configuration
An ISF-certified installer can calibrate your VIERA, so that image reproduction is customised to actual viewing conditions in your home and your personal preferences. The calibration process provides the settings that bring out the full expressive potential within the image signals. Settings for contrast, tint, sharpness and colour are optimised to meet your home's lighting conditions for both daytime and nighttime viewing.

24p Smooth Film
Enjoy naturally flowing 24p films and familiar TV-like quality. In plasma displays, increasing the number of frames creates smoother images. When reproducing images from a 24p film source, VIERA's 24p Smooth Film function generates smooth, natural-looking images.
Wide Colour Viewing Angle
No matter where you sit in the room, you see breathtaking images with spectacular colours. Plasma HDTVs are self-illuminating, so images look beautiful from any angle. Black areas do not fade, and colours look virtually the same from every point in the room.
* Measured using an index for evaluating colour viewing angle developed by the Advanced PDP Development Centre Corporation (APDC). This ensures that you will enjoy exceptional viewing quality even in the largest living rooms.
Super Resolution
The Super Resolution function restores the fine definition and detail that are inherently part of the image but sometimes lost in reproduction. Each area within the image frame is digitally processed for optimum quality. This process up-converts standard-definition images – such as those from TV broadcasts and DVDs – to a level approaching full-HD.
Deep Colour
VIERA faithfully reproduces all the colours inherent in today's most advanced image sources, such as Blu-ray Discs and DVDs. Use an HDMI cable to connect VIERA to the playback device, and you'll enjoy the kind of rich, vibrant colours that make viewing such a pleasurable experience.
x.v.Colour
VIERA models with x.v.Colour compatibility reproduce all of the vibrant colour in images recorded by wide x.v.Colour gamut compatible camcorders. These rich, vivid images are a feast for the eyes.
VIERA Connect
The exciting world of Cloud-based Internet Service, centreing on TV, is about to begin for the enjoyment of the entire family. Now you can enjoy intuitive remote control while relaxing on the living room sofa, with a wide variety of content at your fingertips. In the near future, TV will also be able to link with a tablet device to achieve completely new forms of entertainment that you've never before experienced.
VIERA Image Viewer
Equipped with an SD card slot, VIERA makes it easy to view full-HD photos and motion images that you shot yourself. Simply insert the SD memory card into the slot, and you're ready to view your photos and full-HD videos on the big screen. With VIERA's big screen and superb image quality, family and friends will love sharing your memories.
DLNA / Wi-Fi Ready

Recordings can be easily controlled using VIERA's remote control. You can record your favourite TV series, films and other content on to the USB HDD. Rewind Live TV lets you to rewind a live TV programme to catch the scenes you want to see, so you won't miss the important moments.
• Analogue TV programmes cannot be recorded to the USB HDD.
• Not all the programmes can be recorded depending on the broadcaster and service provider.
• When the TV is repaired due to a malfunction, you may have to format the USB HDD again with the TV to use it. (All data will be erased when formatting.)
• In order to use the USB HDD with your PC after recording with this TV, format it again on your PC. (Special operations or tools may be necessary to format on your PC. For details, refer to the manual of the USB HDD.)

Likewise, you can listen to stored music through VIERA's outstanding sound system. As with the VIERA Image Viewer, you can take advantage of a variety of easy-to-use functions, such as slide shows and thumbnail displays. You can also connect a USB Keyboard and Wireless LAN Adaptor for easy, comfortable use of the VIERA Connect feature.
VIERA Tools
The VIERA Tools user interface makes it easy to access and understand key functions. Simply press a function button, and an explanation appears on the screen. Keep the button pressed to activate the function immediately.
* The VIERA Tools screen design is subject to change without notice.
** The screen display varies depending on the model.
Game Mode
Games are much more fun when there's no lag in operation. VIERA automatically chooses settings that provide the optimal image, so you get super-fast response and no delays. Even dark scenes with delicately rendered details are beautiful and easy to see.
VIERA Link
VIERA Link interlinks the operation of a variety of AV devices, so you can operate them all using only the VIERA remote control. Setup is easy – simply connect the devices to each other via HDMI cables.
ARC (Audio Return Channel)
Using a single HDMI cable, VIERA can output the audio portion of a TV broadcast to your home cinema system, so you can enjoy full-fledged surround sound. You no longer need two cables to connect VIERA to a home cinema system.
* An ARC compatible model is required.
Mercury and Lead Free Plasma Display Panel
Panasonic is committed to making our products more friendly to the environment. In line with this commitment, all VIERA plasma display panels are free of both lead and mercury. This reduces impact on the environment years down the road when the TV is recycled or retired from use.
Long Panel Life, Up to 100,000 Hours
One important way consumers can protect the environment is by choosing high-quality products and taking care of them so they last for a long time. A high-quality VIERA HDTV can help. Thanks to a newly designed phosphor process and rear panel process, our plasma panels last for up to 100,000 hours before the brightness decreases by half. That's more than 30 years of viewing 8 hours a day.
* The panel of an LCD HDTV can last up to 60,000 hours.
ECO NAVIGATION
Standby Power Save
When the VIERA power is turned off, the power consumption of connected devices* is minimised.
* 2009 or above VIERA, and 2009 or above video products compatible with Power Save or Quick Start.
** The power consumption value differs depending on the discs used in connected devices and the usage conditions.
Intelligent Auto Standby
Power consumption is minimised by using VIERA Link control for interconnected devices.
* 2009 or above VIERA, and 2009 or above video products compatible with Power Save or Quick Start.
Gentle on the Eyes
Eye fatigue is suppressed, so both children and adults can watch TV in comfort, even with extended viewing. In a plasma HDTV, each pixel illuminates and its brightness is adjusted for every scene. For this reason the images are not overly bright.
