Doy por hecho que se podrá desactivar desde el reproductor, de lo contrario sería lamentable.
Por otra parte estoy convencido que las teles compatibles van a recibir como mínimo una actualización importante antes del lanzamiento
En el manual del Samsung UBD-K8500 pone que debes activar el HDR en la TV. Por tanto deberá ser LG quien saque la actualización para que esa opción esté disponible.

speed HDMI cable.

Connect the player to an HDMI input terminal on the TV that supports the HDR function using the
high speed HDMI cable.
