Ya hay en USA un propietario con dos unidades jaja

Impresiones:

My cursory impression from the first unit setup:

First, a notice of caution about the stand lock.. in my excitement to get this thing open (this is the most exciting box opening I've ever had, man it feels gooood opening this TV box) I didn't realize there was a stand lock and tried to open it back into the "V" shape and cracked the glass on the back of the unit. The screen was unaffected.

The best way I can explain the A1E in contrast to the W7 (and LG units) is the LG units are out-the-box consumer tuned to be a turn-key product.

All of the picture formats work with the W7 out the box.. HDR10, Dolby Vision etc.. on the W7 works on all the streaming apps.

A1E doesn't have Dolby Vision enabled Netflix and VUDU yet..

For the Oppo 203 connected HDR10 content, the A1E feels like a pro unit.. The picture looks and feels "reference" source level. There's a ton of settings that have to be set to get things right. With the W7, when you play a HDR source on HDMI, proper setup is more automated.

The A1E is a pro calibrator's dream TV.. the demand for pro calibrators will be abundant with the A1E. There's nothing a calibrator can do that this TV won't accommodate.

One thing I noticed is there's only 2 fully capable HDMI ports, ports 3 and 4.

The attached pictures was taken with an iPhone 6+, sorry I don't have anything better and the iPhone cam saturates the true dynamic perfection of the picture coming from a Oppo 203.

If anyone has any questions about the brightness capability of OLED, put the A1E in "Vivid" mode and that discussion will never happen again. This is the brightest I've ever seen a OLED get. I've never had that experience with a LG OLED, even the W7 never burst that bright on me where it was overwhelming.

Por lo que parece es mucho mucho más brillante que la W7 (quizá esto explicaría por qué se puede activar un BFI) de 2017.

The A1E is the one you want for that 5 window room.. my cursory impression is the A1E is the brightest OLED I've owned.. no offense to the Z9D guys.. Sony wasn't lying when they said their processor would produce more brightness from OLED.. understand, the W7 is no slouch in brightness, the A1E in vivid mode shows off how bright it can get.
Hardware:

Uniformidad (aquí como dije, Sony manda las mejores unidades a las reviews, está clarísimo):

Más impresiones, el tipo está flipando (y recordemos que tiene una G6 y una W7 también):

Ok, I've done all the set/player setting syncs and I'm watching Sicario from the OPPO 203 now..

As I thought, the Sony magic dust is at work. No one is touching Sony's perfect color handling against these perfect blacks.

I would highly advise anyone looking to purchase a high-end OLED to save their money, be patient in the process, try not to compromise, and invest in an A1E.

Take a Z9D and show it through an OLED display...

You have the A1E.
I'll say try to get a look at what this unit can do playing content. I've watched Sicario many times on the G6 and I played it on the W7.

The A1E is showing this movie on a whole other level.. I think as more people receive their units and more hardcore testing happens, the product will speak for itself.

Mad Max... OMFG.. wait until you guys see this... This is studio mastering reference.
Y había y hay gente que sigue diciendo que la electrónica no es importante y no obra milagros, que es lo mismo que una LG al ser el mismo panel y tal. Pues no se, me parece a mi que algo si pinta si...

Un saludo!
