    Predeterminado Re: [BD 3D] Reproductor Blu-ray 3D Oppo BDP-95

nuevo FIRM, para el que le intere. leer nota ... gracias
    Release date: March 08, 2012.
    Category: Latest Official Release
    Main Version: BDP9xEU-65-0302
    Loader Version: CN0900
    Sub Version: MCU93-09-0218 (BDP-93EU)
    Sub Version: MCU95-08-0218 (BDP-95EU)
    Special Instructions:
Please ensure your player has the correct Loader and Sub Versions listed above installed before updating. The downloads only include the new main firmware (2 files). If you do not have the correct Loader and Sub Versions please contact us before running the update.
    Release Notes:
This version is designed for the OPPO BDP-93EU and BDP-95EU Blu-ray Disc players. Comparing to the previous Official release version BDP9xEU-61-1219, the major changes are:
    1. Per request from the studios, the ISO file playback function has been removed in this firmware version. The previous firmware had the ability to play ISO files, but it was an undocumented function and was never officially announced or supported. Future firmware revisions will no longer support ISO playback.
    2. Resolved the loading failure observed on several recently released titles, samples like "Hugo (BD, 2012)" and "Rio (BD, 2011)". The failure only happens with the 2D version Blu-ray disc, where the TV shows only a black screen and the player's front panel display would remain at 00:00:00. This firmware can properly load and play these titles.
    3. Improved deinterlacing of PAL 576i source material via the HDMI 1 output.
    4. Improved video up-conversion quality via the HDMI 1 output for 720p source material.
    5. Resolved the loading failure issue observed on several recently-released Blu-ray movies from Universal Europe (US releases have no known issues). Sample titles include "Jurassic Park Trilogy (BD Box Set, 2011)", "Kung Fu Panda 2 (BD, 2011)", "Fast Five (BD, 2011)", and "National Lampoon's Animal House (BD, 1978 version)" etc. With the previous firmware, disc playback will automatically stop once you go to the Main Menu and select PLAY. This firmware properly loads and plays all of the above Blu-ray titles.
    6. Resolved the audio channel loss issue where DTS-HD MA 6.1 audio is decoded as 5.1 for both the analog audio outputs and the HDMI LPCM output. Sample titles include "Star Wars: The Complete Saga (BD, 2011)" and "The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy (BD, 2011)". The reason is the Centre Surround (CS) channel is folded into Surround channels (SR/SL) instead of Surround Back channels (SBR/SBL). This firmware decodes this 6.1 audio as 7.1 by distributing the CS channel to the SBR/SBL channels, and send out through HDMI and analogue audio outputs.
    7. Resolved the freezing issue observed when accessing some BD-Live features. Samples include the "Extras" in "Puss in Boots (BD, 2011)", the "Disney Virtual Vault" in "The Lion King (BD, 2011)".
    8. Provided smaller volume control adjustment steps through the analogue audio outputs. Previously the Volume Control adjusts at 5 per step in the index and 2 dB per step in the level. This firmware allows volume control at 1 per step in the index (100, 99, 98, 97, ...), 0.5 dB per step in the level for BDP-95EU, 1 dB per two consecutive steps in the level for BDP-93EU (e.g., indexes 100 and 99 share the same volume level).
    9. Improved general disc compatibility based on recent and upcoming Blu-ray releases as well as user-submitted disc samples including "Mr. Poppers Penguins (BD, 2012)", "Dragons Gift of the Night Fury (BD, 2012)", "Human Planet (BD, BBC Documentary)" and "Nine Inch Nails, Live - Beside You In Time (BD)".
All features and improvements of the previous firmware are also included in this version.
To check your players current firmware version:
Press Set-up on the remote > Device Set-up > Firmware Information.
    Firmware upgrade instructions:
WARNING: Although firmware upgrade is an easy and usually trouble-free process, it is important to ensure that the power supply to the player is stable, and the upgrade process is not interrupted. A failed firmware upgrade can render the player unusable.
WARNING: Please do not attempt to load US version firmware to your EU model player. Your player will detect the firmware file as incorrect or corrupt.
There are three ways to upgrade the firmware: If your player has an Internet connection the easiest way to upgrade the firmware is the "Via Network" method. If you have a USB thumb drive, you may choose the "Via USB" method. You can also use the "Via Disc" method by preparing a firmware upgrade CD yourself or requesting a firmware CD from OPPO customer service. Please follow one of the three procedures below based on the upgrade method chosen.

BDP-95EU May 2012 by Richard Stevenson and Paul Miller, HiFi News, UK

The BDP-95EU is a £900 universal multichannel player with drop-dead stunning movie performance too. Absolutely outstanding. Oppo’s high-end component choices and first-class engineering have resulted in one of the most revealing and articulate sounding universal disc players on the market irrespective of price. Add to this stellar video performance, wide-ranging disc compatibility and accomplished talents as a high resolution network audio player too. The bonkers-low sub-£900 price ticket makes the BDP-95EU an absolute bargain.

    Hola a todos.
Estoy dudando entre el Oppo 93 y el 95, lo usaré a través de las salidas analogicas, hay mucho cambio de calidad entre los dos, vale la pena gastarse 400 euros más por el Oppo 95 ?
    Saludos.

The highly respected US magazine Stereophile has published a list of special category A+ equipment.
Along with products costing from $5000 - $79,996 the $999 BDP-95 makes the A+ list for it's exceptional performance.
    Performance Criterion:
A: Best attainable sound for a components of its kind, almost without practical considerations; "the least musical compromise". A Class A system is one for which you don't have to make a leap of faith to believe that you're hearing the real thing. With SACD, 24/96, and DVD-Audio now available, we have created a new Class A+, for he best performance in those digital categories.
B:The next best thing to the very best sound reproduction, Class B components generally cost less than those in Class A, but most Class B components are still quite expensive.
C: Lower-fi sound, but far more musically natural than average home-component high fidelity, produces in this class are of high quality but still affordable.
D: Satisfying musical sound, but these components are either of significantly lower fidelity than the best available, or exhibit major compromises in performance.

    prueba y me cuentas
