Primero de todo muchas gracias por tu respuesta. Si bien creo que te has equivocado en la impedancia del los Whaferdale pues son de 20-20W a 4Ohm para los frontales y traseros y 20-100w a 4 Ohm para el central. Puedes verlo en las especificaciones del pdf http://www.wharfedale.co.uk/Portals/...re_low.pdf.pdf . Es por ello que hacía la pregunta ya que para el yamaha rx-v473 sólo veo especificaciones de potencia a 6 y 8 Ohm.

De todas formas pego lo que me ha respondido Yamaha.

Our RX-V473 will accept and work with mixed or lower speaker impedance to a point depending on the quality of the speakers (how stable they are is described below).

When a speaker is driven, the impedance on good quality speakers will remain stable, but on lesser quality speakers the impedance is not stable and will drop, so as long as the speakers are stable you should have no issues at all running mixed or lower impedance speakers the minimum being 4 ohms. If the amp does not like it, if the speaker are too unstable at it's quoted impedance (ie - it drops to 2 ohms or less), your Yamaha will protect itself by cutting out.

If your Yamaha cuts out, we would recommend to get some higher impedance or better quality speakers.

Viene a decir que el RX-V473 no tendría porqué tener ningún problema al manejar la impedancia de 4Ohm y sólo si los altavoces hicieran caer la impedancia a 2 Ohm o menos el RX-V473 se protegería a sí mismo automáticamente cortando.

De todas formas no estaría de más que alguien que tenga alguno de estos dos packs nos dejara sus impresiones con este receptor AV.
Los Diamond 10.1 también los he visto, pero son algo más caros y más grandes. Si bien, estoy contigo, con esos seguro que acertaba.
