Lo importante de un streamer, si lo tienes en Red en lugar de conectado a un disco duro, es su velocidad. La conexion por ethernet hasta hace poco era de 10/100 (Mbits por segundo). Una peli HD con un bit rate alto son unos 25Mbs, por lo que los 100Mbs serian suficientes, pero las redes no son perfectas, y los aparatos tampoco. Por ejemplo mi media center (100Mbps) suele leer a 30Mbps, pero tiene caidas a 15Mbs, por lo que la peli se para

Hace ya tiempo que estan funcionando, en las casa me refiero, los routes "gigabit": 10/100/1000 y tambien discos duros en red gigabit. Eso multiplica por 10 la velocidad de streaming y de copia de archivos, pero no vale de nada si el mediacenter o streamer va a 100mbps

Por eso en mi futura compra es impepinable que el mediacenter sea gigabit

yo en mi caso las bajo con el pc y las paso por red al dune

Los router nuevos de TFNCA que están poniendo áhora sí son gigabit, al menos el que ponen con fibra optica

Yo con el Dune HD Max no he tenido el mas minimo problema al ver una Peli HD (Carpeta BD, BD ISO, m2ts, etcc) con una red 10/100. Es mas tengo tambien el Prodigy por lo de los BD ISO 3D que tiene Gigabit y a lo mas que ha llegado es a 115Mbts y con estas configuraciones de RED:
PC Gigabite--->Lynksys E4200 Gigabite--->Prodigy Gigabite------->entre 95 y 115 Mbts
PC Gigabite---directo conb cable de red CAT6 cruzado----->Prodigy Gigabite------->entre 95 y 115 Mbts
Creo que sigue habiendo mucho cuento con lo del giagbite porque donde si se nota la velocidad de verdad es con el USB 3.0.

Compañero veo que eres un mienbro muy activo en estos foros jejej si soy el mismo lo que ocurre que el foro de mvisioneros se desvio mucho a otras historias que a mi no me van, prefiero estos de tecnica y cacharreo jeje me lo pille y estoy muy contento con el, es una pasada. seguiremos en contacto amigo.

- Now the "Reset Settings" function proposes two choices: full reset to
factory defaults (the same as took place in previous firmware
versions), and so called "soft reset".
- The soft reset clears the settings only partially and is more
convenient in cases when the user does not need full factory reset.
- The following things are cleared by the soft reset:
- All settings from Setup menu.
- All plugins settings.
- All cached data and data stored by the player for its own needs.
- All bookmarks (remembered playback positions).
- The following things (which may be hard to reconfigure from the
scratch) are kept by the soft reset:
- All configured network folders.
- All favorites configured in the main menu.
- All installed plugins.


* Improvements for the users of big remote controls:


- Added the setting allowing to choose the behavior POP UP MENU RC
button: toggle playlist/TV menu (as took place in previous firmware
versions), or toggle the new functions menu (introduced in the latest
firmware version) (this is the default behavior). The old behavior
(toggle playlist/TV menu) can be convenient for the users used to it.
Enabling the old behavior makes the functions menu unavailable (and
thus it may be reasonable only for users of big remote controls, which
have dedicated buttons allowing to trigger various playback functions
w/o the need to use the functions menu). The setting: 'Playback /
Preferences / POP UP MENU button'.


- On the models which are shipped by default with big remote control,
LEFT/RIGHT RC buttons during playback now trigger the time seek
function (as took place in previous firmware versions), rather then
the volume function (as was introduced in the latest firmware verion).


* Tvigle.ru application improvements:
- Added setting allowing to manually control if the application is shown
or not on the main screen: 'Setup / Applications / Tvigle / Shown on
the main screen'.


* Kartina.TV application removed from the set of preinstalled applications
by demand of the Kartina.TV company.


* Minor other improvements and fixes.

- Deinterlacing mode choice is now remembered (for file/IPTV playback).
The remembering can be disabled via a new setting: 'Save deinterlacing

- A warning is shown in some cases when BOB deinterlacing mode can give
better results but is not selected.


- BOB deinterlacing mode is forced automatically for DVD playback when
it is needed (in interlaced video modes).

- Bugfix: Scrolling movie description of movie page using PREV/NEXT RC

* Improved initial video mode configuration for all models:
- The following features are now available on all models (previously
they were implemented for Dune HD TV-101 model only):
- Showing picture on both HDMI and Composite video outputs on first
boot.
- Initial video mode setup wizard.


* Other improvements and fixes:


- Added support for "rtp://@" syntax for media URLs pointing to multicast
streams. (The new syntax is handled the same way as "udp://@" syntax,
including autodetection of RTP and raw-UDP.) The new syntax can be used
in playlist files, applications, etc.


- Bufgix: navigation through dune_folder.txt-based applications was very
slow in some cases (caused by slow loading of AAI image files). (The
problem was introduced in the previous firmware version.)


- Bugfix: Playback of MMS streams were broken. (The problem was
introduced in the previous firmware version.)


- Bugfix: WiFi scan worked wrongly in some cases.


- Bugfix: FlashLite API support for persistent data storage did not work
properly on Dune HD TV-101 and Dune HD Lite 53D.


- Minor other improvements and fixes.

Reproduce todo tipo de archivos incluidos ISOs DVD y BD, tambien el DVD ó BD en Carpetas, excelente imagen y sonido, buen menu y monton de ajustes PERO:
NO LEE NADA QUE SEA 3D NATIVO
Lo que si lee son los MKV 3D SBS Arriba/Abajo e Izquierda/derecha.
Yo tengo tambien el Prodigy y tambien esta muy bien aunque le faltan algunas cosillas que tendran que pulir:

Me gusta este porque tiene reproductor blueray, no tengo reproductor en estos momentos y ya que me compro algo me gustaria que llevara el reproductor incorporado como el dune hd max.
Os lo comprariais ahora al precio que estan sobre 399 o esperariais al nuevo modelo que dicen que en breve va a salir?
Hay alguna otra opción con reproductor incorporado aparte de los Oppo?
