Es cierto que algunas televisiones con entradas HDMI, con HDCP, no permiten ver copias de seguridad de peliculas en dvd eso es lo que creo entender viendo tu comentario jmml ??
el hdcp es un sistema que actúa a nivel de hardware cifrando las señales que salen por el bus hdmi/dvi

lo que impide el hdmi con hdcp en un dvd es que copies la señal digital que saca el dvd; del mismo modo, el hdmi con hdcp del visualizador no te permitirá ver una peli pirata originalmente protegida por ese sistema

carrilero: pues claro que el cable puede influir: de hecho, yo tuve un problema parecido con un ordenador y un tft conectados por dvi: la imagen se iba a nieve aleatoriamente: descubrí que el cable estaba mal, aunque no sé por dónde: supongo que alguna soldadura precaria o similar

de todas manera, samsumg no es un fabricante de mucho fiar en estos asuntos, por ejemplo:
