[HD DVD] Toshiba XE1/HDE1

En DirectSale, han comprado muchos foreros y no han tenido ningún problema... pero supongo que no podrán dar mas información, porque no la tienen ni ellos, lo único que saben es lo que pusieron en su web... que en cuanto han tenido alguna información, si que la han puesto para que todos lo supieramos...


Yo seguiré esperando, pero sino, pues nada, mala suerte.

We are, at this moment, still giving 100% effort to get the ordered shipment of Toshiba HD-XE1's.
We and our representative at Toshiba BeNeLux are still convinced that the players will arrive.
But to speed things up we have given toshiba Europe an ultimatum to try to get things moving.

The ultimatum says that we want the shipment by the end of next week, otherwise we will take further steps.

So for everyone who is waiting for all these months: Thank you so far and by August 1st we hope to have the players in stock.

Estamos empleandonos al 100% para conseguir que nos envien el pedido de los Toshiba HD-EX1.
Nosotros y nuestro representante en Toshiba Benelux todavia estamos convencidos que los reproductores llegaran.
Para acelerar un poco las cosas hemos enviado un ultimatum a Toshiba Europe para hacer que las cosas se muevan.
El ultimatum dice que querems el envio para el final de esta semana, en otro caso tomaremos medidas.
Para todo el mundo que lleva esperando todos estos meses: Gracias tenemos la esperaza que para el 1 de Agosto tendremos los reproductores en stock.

Desde el ultimo comunicado de 24/07/2008 no ha habido ningun movimiento mas por parte de www.directsale.nl y teoricamente el 1 de Agosto era la fecha definitiva estamos a 08/08/2008 y todavia sin noticias ... veremos en que acaba todo esto ...

Despite the ultimatum of August 1st. Toshiba still has not delivered the shipment HD-XE1's. Only this week we received the first mail.

As You can see in the mail beside, the highest boss will be back at work on Monday
August 11th. after a long vacation. He is the person to decide whether this shipment will be destroyed or delivered.

If he will not approve (despite earlier approvals), we will start refunding everyone next week. If he will approve, nothing will be in the way anymore.
We still hope to deliver.

On August 13th. we received a message of Toshiba (two weeks after the ulimate date) with news that we hope will result in the delivery of a large number of orders of the HD-XE1.

We don't know how many we will receive and the players are not in stock yet, but the message sounds very reliable.
Unfortunately we couldn't get a written confirmation of this promise.

Al the players will be delivered to the orders that are still active and we will start with the oldest.

Una preguntilla no es por ser indiscreto, pero para que quereis a estas alturas un HD-DVD???

Una preguntilla no es por ser indiscreto, pero para que quereis a estas alturas un HD-DVD???

Se me ocurren varias:

1 / Para ver las casi 150 películas que poseo en ese formato ...

2/ Para poder usar las salidas de audio analógicas que posee el XE1 y así poder escuchar los formatos de audio HD con mi actual amplificador A/V sin tener que comprar otro ...

3/ Para ver mis cerca de 600 DVDs en la mayor calidad posible actualmente, por todos es ampliamente conocido que el XE1 mejor escaldor a 1080P de DVDs del mercado en calidad / precio / prestaciones ...

4/ Por que el XE1 posee un firmware que lo hace Region Free para DVD y tengo cerca de 50 DVDs Zona 1 que ahora mismo no puedo upscalar a 1080P ni con la PS3 ni con el EP30 por ser ambos Zona 2 para DVD ...

5/ Para tener el EP30 en reserva por si me casca el XE1 o el HD DVD de la XBOX 360 ...

6/ Por conseguir un aparato que valía 899 € a 200 € y poder presumir en el foro y con los amigos ...

7/ Por frikismo ...

No se añade otras que se te ocurran a ti del porque me interesa comprarlo

Despite all the nice words and promises of Toshiba, no Toshiba HD-XE1 has been delivered so far.
Next weekend we have an appointment with the highest staff of Toshiba Europe and this item is the first on our agenda.
Nevertheless we still believe in a 'happy end' , we have decided not to do any promises anymore concerning the delivery of these players.
If requested via email, we will refund the paid money to your bankaccount. (please state your IBAN/Swift-code in that case)

We will keep a list of reservations, so that we can make a fair share if the players are delivered.
