Siguendpo con los expertos de Avforums aquí el CIE postcalibración de esos HD100 y HD350 del que se ha comentado dan ese "color de piel tan exacto" y superior al del HC4000 utilizando sólo sus propios ajustes:

There may be a few niggles we still have with the JVC, but what eclipses all that is its sheer performance and picture quality. Sure the colours could be tamed slightly with a proper CMS menu and the processing, especially with Pal material, could be far better. But at the end of the day with three high quality projectors in my room at the same time as this review sample, time and time again I found myself switching on the HD100 to sit back and watch a movie, and I think that says everything that needs to be said. Reference Quality at its best.

Seguimos con un HD350 analizado por los "expertos ISF" de Avforums; otro proyector del que se comenta da ese color tanto más exacto que un HC4000 (ambos tras el calibrado):


Given the overall performance and that stunning depth of field and dynamic range the JVC is still a real contender in today’s even more competitive mid-price market. If you can live with the slight problems of colour inaccuracy (like the HD1 and HD100), you will be rewarded with black levels and image quality that is still stunning to behold. But as the market is moving and performance from so many new models seems to be catching up quickly (and doing better in some areas), the HD350 just fails to hit that reference point for us. However we still feel it offers the best black performance and contrast levels, meaning we highly recommend that if you’re in the £4k and under market, you would be advised to get a demo. We think you will be suitably impressed. The HD350 is a fine performing projector that reaches levels only seen in models over £5k in the last year.
Cons:

•Greyscale control operation difficult to use

Evidentemente afirmar que un JVC HD100 o un JVC HD350 post-calibración queda con mejor colorimetría que un Mitsubishi HC4000 post-calibración no merece mención alguna que puro desconocimiento.
