Black level problem imo. The PS3 in game mode (but not Bluray mode!) and the HTPC output RGB, which brings the TV's HDMI black level setting into play. Stick it to low, set the PS3 and HTPC to output limited RGB/16-235.

Nvidia also with HDTVs has a silly issue where they compress output level without asking, making video look washed out. The solution is to create a custom resolution at 1920*1080 (exact settings are in the Samsung manual), so it just thinks its driving a giant monitor. Alternatively, set the driver to output 0-255, then desktop/photo/video levels will all appear correct on the HDTV - however you'then sending video through a pointless compression and expansion process, which may cause banding problems.

HTPC text is also not pin-sharp (Nvidia card is is set to 1920x1080 60Hz), over an HDMI output. I have tried other refresh rates (24Hz and 50Hz) but they are also the same.
picture options/size set to screenfit? You're getting overscanned by default, which messes with text by upscaling it a little. Screenfit displays it at 1:1 exactly - you can verify it with a 1920*1080 dots pattern here:

Go for the one called "Alternating black/white 1 pixel full field 1920x1080". If you can see every dot, you're not getting overscan. Any scaling in the video chain will mess it up completely so it's very obvious.

El escalado de pantalla lo tengo bien, es verdad que por defecto la TV te hace overscan, pero el ordenador no. Esta tele se puede configurar perfectamente y no hay que hacer nada para redimensionar el escritorio.

He estado mirando lo de 0-255 y si la TV y el video (corrección de nvidia) y la TV los pongo en 16-235 lo que no es video se ve mal (muy oscuro), porque nvidia solo hace corrección 16-235 del video pero no del escritorio.

Osea, que solo queda la opción de ponerlo todo en 0-255. La suerte es que esta tele lo acepta. La mayoría de televisores no te aceptan el cambiar de 16-235 a 0-255.

La equivalencia es

16-235 = HDMI Bajo (por defecto en la TV)
0-255 = HDMI Medio (Por defecto en HTPC nvidia)

Con lo cual para tocar solo nos queda la opción de elegir los espectro de colores sRGB y YCbCr444

Yo lo he tenido mucho tiempo en YCbCr444, y diría que es un espectro mas amplio (tiene mas colores) pero la verdad, no conseguí que me cuadrase nada, los DVDs los veía con mucho contraste, no se parecían en nada a los mkv y ahora lo veo todo perfecto y muy muy rico en colores (nada saturados), la mejora del colorido y de los negros (tengo ahora una gama de negros muy superior) ha sido enorme. Las películas oscuras se ven muchísimo mejor que antes de calibrar, dentro de lo oscuro puedes ver colores y sin embargo cuando llegas a escenas saturadas en color (moline rouge dentro del elefante) la imagen no se satura. Estoy ya apunto de colgar las ultimas calibraciones y actualizar todos los posts, solo quiero ver unas cuantas pelis antes para confirmar que es ya la calibración definitiva para sRGB.

Ahora tengo muchos mas conocimientos de colores que antes, así que si tengo tiempo empezaré de nuevo. ¿cesarion sabes cual es el equivalente del espectro de colores YCbCr444 en el programa HCFR?
