Banding hay en todas las tecnologías y unidades. Lamentablemente sigue siendo una lotería.

El comentario es larguísimo, comenta que tiene algo de DSE y de banding, que no se ve en contenido real.- I performed a 2-point balance at 100% and 30% IRE. I had to lower red a good 9 clicks on the high end, with minimal adjustments on the low end. This ended up getting my deltas nice and low. I then did a 10-point measurement (but did not calibrate). Overall deltas were at 1.6. A gamma of 0 (default) measured at about 2.26 gamma average, while dropping it to -1 measured closer to my 2.4 target at about 2.35 average. Again, I don’t know what the best “starting points” are for the TV just yet, so I'm sure I can achieve a better result with more time.
- I was very happy to see that my pluge patterns showed all of the appropriate bars flashing, including 17, which would never show up on my B6 without rising the brightness and spoiling perfect black. No black crush to worry about.
- CMS measurements post 2-point calibration (100/75) all measured as being incredibly low, with the exception of red that had a delta of 4. I’m certain that either a 10-point adjustment or perhaps using a different color temperature would have probably fixed this, but I’m not going to worry about fine-tuning that just yet.

Sigue las buenas impresiones, near blacks muy buenos, sin esos macrobloques que a veces aparecían en los modelos anteriores, ningún aplastamiento de negros, etc. Pero bueno en estos campos ya había mejorado mucho la Philips.I've been watching various Netflix streams of some of my favorite shows just to see how some of them look (I have not upgraded my membership to Ultra HD yet - or whatever they offer). In my opinion, things look so much better streaming on the A1E in comparison to my old B6. Gone is all that low-level "noise" and pixelated crap I had on my LGs. Shadows are nice and clean and remind me of how my VT60 looked with compressed content (only blacker, of course).
I know some people might dismiss how crucial this is - but with my B6, for example, I complained about how bad older BDs and streaming looked in comparison to my plasma. I was told that I should only be watching "reference" content and that any other issues are the fault of the source, not the panel. I don't buy this - as many of the movies I watch are often obscure and not available on BD (let alone 4K). No, it's not going to look pristine, but you should still be able to watch these movies without it being too offensive on the eyes. When it comes to upscaling, Sony definitely knows how to polish turds - and trust me, as a long-time film buff, my library has quite a few turds in it
